Yesterday was the day: Doctor Who #9 was available on both coasts!
I got a few copies of Doctor Who #9 (with more on the way -- most for family members who don't have nearby comic shops, and a stack for upcoming cons). It looks GREAT in print. Charlie Kirchoff's colors look excellent.
Any one else pick it up? Let me know what you think.
And, major geek/ego boost, on Twitter yesterday actress/writer/everything Felicia Day (The Guild, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dr. Horrible, etc.) mentioned that The Guild comic hit the stands yesterday;
@feliciaday - @TheGuild Comic day! Did you read it yet?! Did interviews w/ USA Today http://bit.ly/ahIW7c and A Comicbook Orange! http://bit.ly/bZM6sx
@onegemini - @feliciaday Oh yeah? It's also #doctorwho comic day, with the writing stylings of @mrtonylee, art of me, and colors of @charliekirchoff! :)
@feliciaday - @onegemini I need to pick it up!!
Whether she will or not, what an awesome thing to say. :D
And comic book artist extraordinaire Pete Woods (Robin, Deadpool, Action Comics, etc.) said;
@thatpetewoods - Very cool! Your Martha is spot on! Actually everyone is spot on
So... g'wan! Get out there and snatch up a copy (please pay for it... don't just nick the ish).
Thanks!
