Above is my cover (the "B Cover") for Doctor Who #9. This has been revealed over on Comic Book Resources and at the Gallifrey One: Blackjack 21 (2010) con, so I figure it's safe to share here now.
Long time, no chat. Between the finishing of Doctor Who #10 last week, and working on roughs for #11 since, I haven't said or done much of anything here.
To catch everyone up, there hasn't been much going on artistically but Doctor Who. I can now say that Doctor Who #9, my debut issue, hits the stands on March 17th. For those of you who don't remember (or are new readers - hiya there), the rundown of the issue is such;
DOCTOR WHO #9
Written by Tony Lee, art by Blair Shedd, covers by Paul Grist and Shedd.
"Don't Step On The Grass" Part 1 (of 4): When the Doctor is called back to modern-day London by Martha Jones and U.N.I.T., the last thing he expects are the Enochian Angels of Elizabethan magician John Dee, the secret underground library of Greenwich Park, and an army of angry living trees!
And be sure to click on that Comic Book Resources link up top. There you can read more about IDW's upcoming Who-related releases, and see a page from #9 (lines by me, colors by Charlie Kirchoff).
Hope y'all pick up the issue when it hits stands on Saint Patrick's Day!
